It is hardened with a special light which bonds the material to your tooth. In almost all cases this can be done without needing anaesthetic. Since there are many different dental products on the market, it takes time, research and a lot of experience to make sure the products and techniques that I am using are the best. Teeth take a lot of abuse when eating and biting so using a strong bonding adhesive makes is significant difference in how long the bonding may last. It is also very important that the right techniques are used to ensure that the material will provide longevity.

Bonding can:

• Can help protect teeth from beginning wore or chipped.

I find that bonding is a good  option for patients who find that porcelain veneers or Lumineers are not affordable, or the cosmetic changes desired are minor and do not require porcelain veneer restorations. In most cases dental insurance will help to pay for tooth bonding.
